Meet BOO. Sweet, petite, pregnant, and timid, this little girl found herself in a very precarious position--her human was moving, he wouldn't take her with him, and his game plan was to turn her outside to 'live with the neighborhood colony'.
Lucky for Boo, someone became aware of what was about to go down and contacted us. Did we have room for her? Nope, not really. Would we let her be disposed of outside or dumped at the shelter? Nope, absolutely not.
An SOS went out--all of our fosters were full to bursting, but one Superstar Foster Mom had a spare cat condo and made room for 'just one more'. She came to her foster home with nothing but a fishing toy and big amber eyes, and spent the first night trembling so hard that the kitty condo was shaking.
Boo's foster family began gaining her trust, and she started to love neck scratches and gentle words. The trembling quieted, and she began soliciting attention. As she settled in we went on BABY WATCH (!!!) and she had no idea how lucky she was that someone cared enough to reach out for help. And that a foster family saved multiple lives by making room for *Just One More*.
In the early hours of June 11th, Boo gave birth to five beautiful little babies! Three little boys and two beautiful little girls--we were all so happy that Boo got through delivery, but there were two very tiny little tabbies that clearly had been conceived later than their big silver siblings and we were concerned.
