"Animals are such agreeable friends - they ask no questions, they pass no criticisms." - George Eliot
Who are we?
They call us crazy cat ladies, but never explain how we got there, so here's a response:
We are cat ladies, yes, because we care enough about the lives of others, including from outside our species, to save and see through to the end, knowing it may be a 20+ year journey, that ball of fur you felt comfortable dumping on the side of the road, at the mall parking lot, in the woods or anywhere you were able to get rid of your responsibility, as well as your compassion. If that makes us crazy (& you have NO idea how much it does) to take in what you tossed as easily as garbage, then long live crazy & may we continue to add to our ranks, including crazy cat men, boys & girls! |

For medical cases involving inflammation, we rely on Assisi Loop therapy.
Because Timmy survived kidney failure he is unable to take medication that might help manage the stiffness and pain associated with his old injury, so our Vet suggested trying at-home Assisi Loop therapy. The results have been very positive, and although he is unable to tell us that it's helping, we see a difference in the way he moves while he is receiving daily treatment. His limp is less pronounced and he appears more agile and energetic. We are very pleased with his progress and would encourage anyone with a furry friend experiencing pain or wounds with associated inflammation to speak with their Vet to see if Assisi Loop therapy might be right for them!
